I will be visiting my parents in Harpenden in the next few weeks. it has been about 20 years since I was last at the playpark in Rothamsted. Is it still there, and is it any good to toddlers?

Also, where else has good parks, I was wondering about Stockwood park but if anyone knows of anywhere better please let me know.

We were going to take a trip in to London until we realised the train would cost nearly £60 - now looking for cheaper options.

Thanks

Hi there,

Here's some ideas:

Big Space (indoor soft play in harpenden on the southdown industrial estate)

Come to St.A for:
Verulamium park where there is free toddler splash park, playgrounds, huge space for picnics kick a ball, feed ducks
Willow Farm (under 2's are free)
Clarence Park (sandpit)
Rhyme Time (St.A library tues morning, free)
DJ Jungles St.A (a bit grubby though and hot in hot weather)
Pots of Art on holywell hill for messy painting
Swimming in harpenden or st.a
Butterfly World

Or you can go to whipsnade zoo near dunstable downs, or ashridge estate near berko for a run around in the forest here's some more ideas:www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk/things-to-do/st_albans

have a great time
