French perfume shop .... can anyone help me please?

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could please help me. Twenty odd years ago I lived in Kent and used to visit a little French perfume-y type shop in Canterbury and buy (cheapish) fruity perfumes. I cannot really remember much about it except that in my mind it was in the area just outside of the cathedral.

I am due to visit my parents in law who live in the Medway towns and thought I would pop in and see if it was still there (guessing not as it was so long ago!) ... but then thought I might just ask on here if anyone local can remember the shop and let me know what it was/is called?

I've lived here 9 years now and have not come across such a shop!!! Any more clues??

Thanks drcrab. Sorry, I cannot remember anymore - except I think it was a French chain as I got some similar perfume (cassis, if I recall correctly) when interrailing in Paris ...
