What is Kirkham like as a place to live? Is it really rough with a lot of drug users? What places would be best to avoid when looking a buying a house in Kirkham?

Kirkham is a lovely rural village. I think if you visit you will get a feel for the area and you will know where not to live. Lots of nice areas and very good schools. Ideal for transport links M55, Trains to Blackpool/ Preston and beyond and Bus routes.

Not far from the countryside (my children have enjoyed watching a calf been born as well as watching lambs, chickens, llamas and goats during the seasons. A lovely beach a short drive to St Annes. Blackpool on our doorstep for days out and Preston City for shopping.

Local shopping is Ok. The Morrisons Supermarket is not "Supersize" but you can get a weekly shop in there. Highstreet is adequate.

Rural Splash Swimming baths and Gym (YMCA) at a reasonable cost or Ribby Hall if you like more sports. New housing in next village Wesham. Local Park, Sure Start Centre. A variety of Good Pre-schools/Schools. Very good secondary school (Carr Hill) or Private Kirkham Grammar. We have Rainbows/Brownies/Guides and Beavers/Cubs/Scout groups. Junior Football. Kirkham Cricket Club ... I could go on and on.

I have lived here for many years and not had any trouble
