We are just about to move to Walton-on-Thames this Saturday, and are buying a gorgeous house...just one problem, however - all the external doors are too small for our very deep, cosy and beloved John Lewis 'elephant' sofa, which would be perfect for the front room..
A friend suggested removing the bay window in order to lift the sofa in. Could anyone recommend a reputable builders' firm that could do the job and make good afterwards?
