Living in Kettering

Hello everyone. I am new to Mumsnet so please be patient with me! I would like to hear from other mums in the Kettering area. I am thinking of moving to the area and I have seen a house on Poplars Farm Road. Would anyone recommend living in Kettering and are the schools good? Thank you in advance to anyone who can help advise me.

No, the schools aren't good, unless you are in catchment for Bishopstopford or Southwell School for Girls.
Kettering High St is dire, Boots and M&S it's saving grace.
