Hi, any paddling pools locally to cool off with the good weather coming? I believe tonbridge has an open air bit, do you have to be in a cossie and swimming to go in, or can u accompany your child still dressed?

Many thanks

never seen anyone in clothes in the outside pool at Tonbridge tho it would be easy to paddle but the ground gradually gets deeper until you get to the overhead buckets where its the depth of a normal shallow end. it would be far safer if you were able to get in and sit down with dc. Cossie & sarong maybe?

here's a picture though not a very good one, the pool extends to the left beyond what you can see in this

The only one I know of, and it's not really local is Swanley Park. If you get there early you can have it almost to yourself. After about 11am it's carnage!

The only other 'water splash' thingy is in St John's Park now that they have turned the water on - usually in the holidays the children dam the sandpit so that they can have a little pond to splash in and cool down in.......
