Where to buy party paraphernalia in Edinburgh

Hello, back from an unsuccessful trip to buy party invitations, party bag contents and paper plates - anyone know good shops in Edinburgh for such stuff?
Have tried a large Poundstretchers and a small Asda so far.
I'll try the internet but would really rather buy it in a shop.
Any ideas would be great!

I've always used Party Pieces online but Toys R Us used to have a large range. For invites sometimes tesco/M&S/Card Factory are best. Do you have a specific theme in mind?

We can go anything in a superhero-y line I think.
I'll have a look online and brave toys-r-us at the weekend I think. Thanks for the advice Smile

I bought most things online (ebay) recently for a pirate party, but was surprised by how much they had at tesco when I popped in to get some extra balloons (the one at hermitage gait). They had red/white star plates, napkins etc which would fit with a superhero party theme I think.

Cool, that's not too far for me to go, cheers.
