For any mums with slightly older children...Somerset County Council are running a great scheme loaning brand new mountain bikes to 16-19 year olds at college or sixth form. You pay a £40 fee plus £75 deposit for the year and at the end of it can either give the bike back and get your deposit back, or keep the bike.
