Child-friendly gastro-pub near the Science Museum

Not sure if "child friendly" and "nice" are mutually exclusive but any suggestions would be gratefully received. If there are no pubs that hit the mark, restaurant recommendations would also be welcome. Ideally, we'd like to avoid the ubiquitous Strada, Pizza Express etc.

The restaurant at the V&A (across the road from the science museum) used to be very good. Might be worth a try.

Thanks Dawn. I've been there before and the food is really good but I was hoping for something more pubby as we're meeting old friends we haven't seen for ages on a Sunday and fancy a proper Sunday lunch.
