Want to go to university? No qualifications? Been out of education for a while?

If you would like to take a degree at The University of Liverpool but have no formal qualifications then Go Higher is for you. Go Higher is a one year part-time course that will help you develop the confidence and skills needed for degree level work. You're taught one day a week to allow you to fit your studies around other commitments.

Go Higher is an award winning, one-day a week access course at Liverpool University which has helped many people without traditional qualifications to commence undergraduate study. Most students go on to undergraduate programmes at Liverpool University or elsewhere; previous students have gone on to Masters degrees and even doctorates.

What will I study?

You will receive study skills, literacy and numeracy support tailored to your individual needs and study a broad range of disciplines to prepare for your choice of undergraduate degree. These include humanities (for example literature, history and philosophy), business studies, language and social studies (including sociology and psychology). At the end of the course you will have the chance to produce an extended project of your own choice.

We will guide you through the University application process and, if you have the commitment needed, support you all the way.
