Coffees/maternity nurses/nurseries - SW15

Hello, hello,

I wanted to start a new thread as not much has been written locally for a while.

I am expcting my first baby at the end of September and have a ton of questions. I am also pretty isolated. I was hoping to come across some fellow expectant mums/Mums who would perhaps fancy a coffee sometime.

Also, I'm after some local info - where best to get a maternity nurse/child minder...

What about nurseries? Which are good in Putney and surrounding areas? (I've been to look at Noddies and Gwendolen House but do not know anyone who has used them)

Thought I would say hello as no one else had.
I am new to the area too & live just off northcote Rd & have an 8 week old.
NCT classes were great for meeting local mums at the same stage & NCt also do other meet ups for those with bumps or babes.
Nappyvalleynet.com is a good local forum too where they discuss child care, schools , recommendatioms for plumbers etc
