Does anyone have experience enrolling in Rainbow? What are your opinions?

In what way do you want opinions? I'm a brownie Guider but know a bit about Rainbows x

Depends on your unit if there is a list. There is a Rainbow Programme that the leaders follow but most units have lots of fun with games, crafts, fun nights and trips. My daughter loved rainbows, then moved to brownies and is now a guide and she loves the activities and fun they have. She's in a different unit from mine as she deserves the chance not to be a leaders daughter.

If you google Edinburgh girl guiding you would find out how to contact them for your local units.

I'm a Rainbow leader (in London) but to give you an idea, some of the activities my unit have done this term:
Made peppermint creams as fathers day presents
Safety & getting help in an accident - will follow up with a first aid session next term
Signing challenge - 1 meeting spent learning sign language and playing some games in silence
Rainbows picnic for our 25th birthday
Games night - wide games, challenges
Jubilee challenge - attempting to do various things 60 times
Making our own butter
A big outdoor water fight one week when it was really hot!

I have a waiting list but not all units do, it depends on the area. If you google girl guiding in your area you should find contact details to get in touch. Or check local eg church halls as lots of meetings are held in that type of venue.
