Kids Entertainer for party - any suggestions?

My ds will be 4 in August and I've promised him a party as a lot of his nursery friends are doing it. I thought about 10-15 kids at home with a kids entertainer. Anyone know of anyone good?

Tricky Ricky or Stina Sparkles are both good. I've never used them but been at parties and events which they've both been at.

Rocking Rascals?

I'll second tricky Ricky. We had him at new year for our six year old ds2 party. So professional, kept 26 5 and 6 year olds captivated for 2 hours. Least stressful party ever and my dc and their friends are still talking about him and retelling the jokes. Fabulous.

Yes, Tricky Ricky is fantastic. My DC still talk about a party he did for us 3 years ago as the best party they have ever been to.

My dd really enjoyed a party with Jango the Clown at this age. And thankfully he wasn't dressed up with face paint and freaky hair. He did warm up games and dances and some slapstick magic.

I've emailed Tricky Ricky after all your recommendations but I may have left it too late. I'm off to have a look at the others and hope we can get somebody.

I've managed to get a booking with Tricky Ricky so I'm really pleased. Thanks for all your help.

Brilliant news.

My ds has been at a tricky ricky party and really enjoyed it. Have had a look at the website and no mention of prices - would I need to take out a second mortgage?!

Groovee · 03/07/2012 19:00

You have to email or call for a quote for your party. I think he was about £200 for our brownie and rainbow party and he did 4 mini shows.

OwlMother · 03/07/2012 20:32

The two hour party package is £225, I think the 45minute show is about £150. These were the prices in January of this year.

Thank you
Last year o got away with a cake and a trip to the swimming pool!

Well Tricky Ricky came and was a huge hit with 10 three and four year old boys and a few older kids and their parents. He managed to keep them sitting on their bums laughing their heads off for a whole hour- it was a miracle.
The cost was £125 for 3/4 hour or £150 for a whole hour. I got the hour but actually 3/4 would've been fine at that age.
I thought the cost was pretty good compared to some of the birthday party places I'd looked at and you could've had as many kids as you liked I suppose.
