Where to live in BS?

I think we're going to concentrate on settling in Bishop's Stortford. It looks (over the internet) to be a nice area, lovely greenery, good schools, commuter friendly etc.

Can anyone recommend a particular area within BS or advise against a particular area in BS? I'd prefer not to be in the Stansted flight path.

Ps, family of 4 with two boys (5 and 2 yo)

Hi, I have only lived in the area for a year but just wanted to say not to worry too much about the flight path, I live about a mile from the airport in Stansted and we barely ever hear any plane noise so I doubt it would bother you in BS. There's lots of lovely places round here, we got in the car and just drove around to get a feel for the area before we decided to move here. Good luck with it all!
