Hi, not sure if I'm in the right group as Teignmouth is not Exeter, but just tell me to go elsewhere if so!

I live in North Devon at the minute and DH has got a new job in Exeter so we are going to move. We are considering going to Teignmouth but I just wondered if anyone would be able to tell me what it's really like to live there?

The secondary school seems good and the area looks nice but it's hard to tell when you visit for just a week. Is it a good place to settle with kids?!

Thanks!

Hi,

I live in Teignmouth (move in April with my daughter, aged 2).

It's a really chilled-out place and I think it is a good place for raising a little one.

I don't know about older children!

There isn't a great deal to do in Teignmouth itself, but you are close to Newton Abbot and Exeter.

I like it!
Sophie :)
