any recommendations please for 5 11 year old boys and DH on a sunday lunchtime? Not too expensive - the paintball session has cost enough!

TIA

Berkhamsted has loads of reasonable cafes on the high street but you might find lots of places heaving / roads closed with Jubilee celebrations.

There's a Harvester next to Hemel Station, it's about 10 mins away from Bourne End.

Or Marchmont Arms used to be good and reasonable with a huge garden but I haven't been for years so may have changed.

The street closures (Berkhamsted) are on Monday so you will be fine.

Loads of restaurants/pubs there.

If you fancy Pizza, Pizza et Pizza (Lower Kings Road) is cheaper than Pizza Express and has larger portions.

In Hemel they have a chinese buffet place and Gullivers Buffet which has dishes from all around the world. It's your standard buffet place but heaven for 11 year old boys!
