Buckstone primary, afterschool club full - what now??

Hi,

My daughter is starting Buckstone Primary in August, unfortunately the after school club is full and she is apparently quite far down the list so has no chance of getting in this year :-(

I work mon-wed, 9-5, can anyone recommend a really good childminder who does pick ups from Buckstone Primary?

I'd try the above to find childminders and visit any who have spaces. What one person loves about a childminder may not suit someone else.

sorry for late reply. This happened when my son started P1 (despite being on waiting list for 18 months he could not get a place at school's own after school club - they had something like 30 places for school of 600 pupils).

In a panic I contacted the council and they gave me a list of childcare in area - childminders and after school clubs. he is in a private after school club which I am very happy with.
