Places to pump in Edinburgh

I am exclusively expressing milk for my month-old daughter and we will be in Edinburgh for the day a week from today to get her registered at the US Consulate on Regent Terrace. I will probably need to express milk about three times while we're there and I have no idea where I can go to do this - I would imagine the breastfeeding cafes aren't really in the city centre but I am happy to be told otherwise.

Any thoughts where I can pump in the city centre not too far from Regent Terrace?

Hiya! I moved out of Edinburgh a year ago just before I had my DD so hopefully someone who knows better than me will be along. I'd imagine the consulate would have somewhere you could go? Maybe phone ahead and ask? If not it's pretty close to the Scottish Parliament, I'd expect they would have some sort of feeding room or would arrange a room for you. Don't know about the breastfeeding cafes but St Johns church at the west end of Princes St has a really nice wee veggie cafe and I'm sure there'd be somewhere you could pump there. Sorry I'm not alot of help!

John Lewis has a feeding/changing type room and has a private section for breastfeeding which you would be able to use. It's in the St James' Centre and it's not too far away I think.

Agree with John Lewis. About five mins walk from regent terrace and has a very good feeding room which you will be able to use.
