birthday night out

hi all,
anyone have any suggestions for a fun birthday night out for me and my other middleaged mummy friends! Want it to involve dinner and dancing (nothing too clubby) something cheesy we can boogie too. Have heard a few people mention La Raza is that any good???

See our thread on the Early Night Club below - La Raza does tapas and then dancing but the ENC is only on once a month. I'm not sure how it works when it's not ENC (coz I don't get out!) but it's a nice place.

I'd avoid Regent Street - anywhere near the Regal or Vodka Revs looks horrible of an evening.

thanks I saw the early night club thread and it sounds perfect but the dates don't work.....might give la raza a go but always a bit nerve wracking when you haven't been before - and don't get out much!!!
