Job Centres

Where are the job centres in Edinburgh. When I lived at home it was High Riggs was my local one. I thought every area had their own one. But High Riggs and one in town seem to be the only 2 showing on google searches.

There is one in Leith too

Portobello and Torphichen street closed a while ago. St Andrews St, High Riggs, Leith (Commercial St) and Wester Hailes are still going. Think it depends on your postcode which one you can go to.

You need to phone first and they go through your initial application and make you an appointment. You are always allowed to drop in to use the facilities but won't get an appointment by phoning directly. Unfortunately I speak from too much experience ;-)
