Moving to Oxford

Hi, I have been very fortunate and been offered a job in Oxford to start asap but because home is currently quite a way away, I need some lovely person or family to help me out. I would preferably like a self-contained flat / studio / annexe in or within a commutable distance of Oxford, and would be happy to help out with household tasks and babysitting if or when needed.
I would be very grateful for any other advice in trying to get something sorted sharpish too.
Thank you

Try the university sites for student accommodation. It'll be available in a few weeks for the summer break.

Put an advert on Daily Information:

Thanks for the links and advice. I've placed an advert and have bombarded agencies with messages (not helpful being Bank Holiday), but am still searching!

I may know of a room in a shared house with a colleague of mine. only her in the house, she's just turned 40 and is a shift worker and mum (child doesn't live at home though), very trustworthy, known her for 11yrs. if it's still available I will message you. I should see her this week.

Twinklytoes - unfortunately I had to commit to the job before I had found anywhere to live (I was only given the bank holiday weekend which wasn't ideal), so now back to searching for employment again Confused
