No school place in Teddington

Interested in how many people there are in the Teddington area who have no place at all offered? I have no place for either of my twin boys despite having put down my 5 closest schools. Is there really a case for a bulge year at a community school or are (as I suspect) not really enough children to warrant a whole new class.

Hello, I usually just 'lurk' but after reading this post thought it would be helpful if I signed up and came forward :)

I live 740 metres from Collis school near the high street, my son didn't get a place offered at Collis or any school for that matter. Letter simply says they are unable to offer a school.

I know of two other families on my road who didn't get Collis, but were however offered Stanley which is just under 2000 metres away!!?

Anyway hope this info helps.

Last years intake to Collis was 705m, this isn't as the crow flies, but as you would walk to either the main gate, or the pedestrian gate on Cromwell Road.

As for Teddington School, I think Analaby Road and towards is about as far as it goes at the moment, but unsure of exact boundaries, would be interested if anyone has any more specific catchement areas for Teddington School as they have scraped the feeder school route I believe...
