Hi Mn parents, we are moving to BS soon and I am in a bit of panic re childcare. My son always went to nursery he's nearly 3 so now I'm thinking nursery attached to a school and childminder for earlier and after nursery hours as I do long days. Can anybody suggest a flexible childminder and a school in the area for a 3 yr old?

thanks in advance

check the direct.gov childcare website - we found our CM on there, after phoning around almost every one on the list! where are you moving to, there are nurseries all over town :)

Your DS would be eligible to start school nursery in Jan 2013. Places have just been allocated so you will need to get onto the LEA quickly.

There are several pre schools offering 3hr sessions with funding.
