New to Edinburgh

Hello we have just moved to Ravelston/Murrayfield section of Edinburgh and was wondering if anyone could tell me what facilities are in the area? Where is the closest swimming pool, library, tennis courts, evening classes, etc?
Grateful for any help.

Welcome to Edinburgh. Closest swimming pool probably Drumbrae. Library would be Blackhall, Balgreen, Drumbrae or Corstorphine depending on what you think. Evening classes can be found on the council website. If you have children under 5, I'd recommend the Edinburgh for under 5's book, which will give you a comprehensive list of local groups etc.

Spartans tends to be popular. Edinburgh city are close by. My son plays for beechwood. Cramond Boys Club isn't too far either.

Ainlsie park leisure centre also close by (this is also the Spartans football club home ground) . Good pool and lots of classes/ activities available. www.edinburghleisure.co.uk/detail-43
