There's a poll on facebook to see how many people got their first choice Wandsworth primary school. If you were disappointed fill it in so we can show the council the scale of the problem.

Hi, my situation is worst. I am no offer and I feel like I am now faced with a big dilemma. My questions are:

  • Should I now apply for a school I really don't want? (I have applied six preferences already, 3 in Richmond borough and 3 in Wandsworth borough) or
  • Should I stay "no school place offer" and hope that by being top priority (because I have no school place offer) there could be more pressure for the council to squeeze me in a school that are within my preferences?

Can someone give me some advice on what do if you have no offers?

unfortunately whether or not you have an offer of a school place makes no difference to whether you are offered a place at a school .You are offered a place in accordance with the schools admissions policy hence a child who lives closer to the school than you but already has a school place will be offered that school first.
Your borough has to offer you a place by your child's 5th birthday however it may not be one of you choosing and if you decline this offer the borough does not have to offer you anywhere else as they have done their duty according to the admissions code.
Also the borough that you don't live in but have applied for school place is not obliged to help you .i would add more choices in your home borough.
IT SUCKS
