Hello, I am a single mum moving from London to the south coast. Initially planning to move to Brighton. I think if I move along the coast I might get more for the money, i'll be renting. I've been trying to get some feedback about what it's to live in Arun or Adur distric areas but without much luck. Does anyone give me some advice?
i am planning to go for a few days trip over, but waiting for the weather to get better...
many thanks,
abrilsp

hello and thanks for your message! My children are 4 and 6. If I am honest with you I don't have any place in mind, I've never been there but I will as soon as the weather gets better. I am looking about best/worst areas (haven't found much, well nothing) this link to safe areas, good schools (but I suppose this is a lottery). As we are going by the sea, child friendly beaches. Are there good things to do with the children, play areas, parks, other activities... This is less important, but good shopping areas? I think this is pretty much, I really appreciate you advice, thanks a lot

I'm in sompting which is nice, peaceful and close to the sea. Don't have kids at school yet but sompting village primary has a good ofsted report.

Thank you so much for all the information. You really help me out and the links are great! You mention Wick and Littlehampton doggy areas, I 've seem quite a lot of properties in littlehampton but knowing that better avoid it. Any more areas you wouldn't recommend?
I'll have a look to the location of sompting, good to have it in mind.
At the moment I'm very happy with the information, if I see properties there I might have some more questions.
Thanks again.

My bit of Adur (southwick) is an absolute dump with nothing to do of a weekend other than stick pins in your eyes.......

Best avoided.
