Hello,

I want to decorate a cake for DH's birthday. Want to make it in the shape of a particular country, make little icing figures of us to go on top etc - all very kitsch Grin

Have no idea where to buy everything I might need though - any advice about where to look?

TIA

I second purple heart - every food colouring, glimmer spray and butterfly topping you could think of. for actual kitchenware supplies you want steamer trading round the corner in ship st.

Thanks everyone! Will check out purple heart and angel Grin

Really helpful Smile

Chatawak Cake Decorating Equipment in Peacehaven is where the professionals go - they have everything, including hire of tins if necessary.

140 South Coast Road, PEACEHAVEN, BN10 8ER Tel: 01273 579431

but ring chatawack before you go as last time i drove all the way there they didn't have what i wanted which i was surprised at as it was a couple of basic bits of equipment (got told oh I always sell out really fast, had to bite my lip so as not to tell her that maybe she should place a larger order!!)
