What's going on with Opportunity Links!!! DH has has his hours increased at work and I am looking for a childminder who may pick dd up from Morley a couple of times a week. She goes to after school club but isn't mad keen so I thought I may use a CM as well. It used to be much easier to use OL but I'm very confused. Anyone got any idea?? It would be mon and tues 3.15 - 5.30. TIA

Try www.familiesandchildcare.org.uk and find the Cambridge and Peterborough page. This is a database of childcare providers with contact details, it looks familiar to me (I last looked at opportunity links 3 years ago so I may be a little hazy but I think it is the same database?)

I also rang the childcare information service in Histon on 0845 045 4014 and asked them to send me a list of childminders centered on my work postcode.

Have you asked the office at school if they know of any other children who are picked up by childminders? It might be quicker that way to find one.

Good luck!

I would ask other parents as well

They've closed down and service have been farmed out elsewhere.
