Nurseries in Hove

Hi,

We are moving to Hove from surrey in June and will be looking to find a place for my son who will nearly be 1 by then. He hasnt been to nursery yet but is good with other kids as he has an older brother, whos friends have lots of siblings the same age.

All recommendations/comments good or bad are appreciated.

We are moving near to Blatchington Road and my other son will hopefully go to school at West Hove Infants (Portland road) so any around that sort of area would be even better.

Thanks,

Cherise

Hi Cherise,

As a starting point, you could search online on our Family Service Directory for details of childcare provision in the Brighton & Hove area. Visit www.familyinfobrighton.org.uk
Click on the 'looking for childcare?' part in the orange banner, then choose the category you're be interested in (day nurseries, childminder nurseries, childminders and FIS At Home childcarers are all options for under 1 year olds). Once you are in the category of childcare you're interested in, you can choose to display only those with a BN3 postcode in the 'available filters' box on the right hand side. BN3 is the Hove postcode.
Once you've had a look you could then ask for feedback / recommendations for specific childcare providers you are interested in.
You might also want to have a look at our other webpages at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/fis, and if you're on Twitter you can follow us @BHCCFamilyInfo for other useful information and updates.

I hope this helps!

Vicki, on behalf of Brighton & Hove Family Information Service

Young Sussex Aldrington would be handy for you. All mine went there, but it was several years ago.
