Nurseries Battersea & childcare

Hi could anyone recommend nurseries for starting from 6 months old in Battersea (around Battersea park) or on the way to Sloane Square?
I am due in July and planning to going back to work in January 2013 and only full day nurseries will work with my long hours.
Alternativelly any recommendations on full time babysitters, nannies, who can do also some house work?
Any views on which one is preferable, nursery or full time child minder at home?

I am not knowledgeable about nurseries there, but you could look up in www.childcare.com and www.findababysitter.com and the local mumsnet search.

Both my children loved Blundells Day Nursery on Sheepcote Lane in Battersea. Kind, loving staff, a good structure to the day and lots of flexibility for working mums as they go from 8 to 6.
