Moving to Newbury

Hi all we are moving to Newbury, catchment school Trinity. Why does it seem to have a bad rep??

Newbury is a really nice town and most of my friends choose to go there rather than Reading. They have recently built more shops which is good and it has a chilled atmosphere. Trinity school has a good rep round here so not sure what you have heard.

thanks for you help. We have looked around the shops and Newbury does seem to be a really nice place to live. As for trinity when I have searched for feedback some other sites say the other secondary schools in the area are best to try for, anyway thanks again.

Trinity does seem to have a bad rep but it's more down to people's views
on catchment. The Head of the Kennet school has recently taken it over
so will want to make improvements fast. I have no idea what it's results are - look at its Ofsted report and results.
