hi
does anyone know of and can recomend a drop in playgroup for babies where parents can stay that is around under a £5 per session? My baby is 7 months and going to nursery for 2 half days a week in sept and I would like her to get used to being in a play environment with lots of other babies/toddlers. thanks S

Hi Mammysammy83

Our Family Service Directory includes details of parent toddler and other activity groups for families with children in Brighton & Hove.
Visit www.familyinfobrighton.org.uk
If you click on the 'children and young people zone' you will find a category called 'activities for under 5's' which should be of interest!

Hi, am bumping this as I'd be interested in getting any recommendations of playgroups. I have a 1 yr old DS who's not walking yet.

Hi - just noticed this thread and thought it might be worth mentioning the Jubilee Library. Obviously it's not a playgroup, but if you just want to get your baby used to playing with lots of other little ones while you're there, the children's library is perfect. You can drop in whenever you like, there are always loads of babies, toddlers and parents there, it's relaxed and fun, and it's free. I've found it such a great place to take my one-year-old ? it's saved my sanity on a number of occasions when i've run out of idea for keeping her entertained!
