Hello Bristol parents!

Don't miss our current exhibitions and events - perfect for Easter holiday fun.

Penguin Parade tells the story of Penguin books, which began in Bristol in 1935. Using materials from the University of Bristol Penguin Archive, the show offers a rare chance to see how the world's most recognisable book brand was born.

The exhibition, like a Penguin book itself, is bright and colourful, rife with 'did you know?' facts, and packed full of fascinating objects and archival materials. For your little Puffins, there's a dedicated kids' space where they can design their own book cover, colour and complete a kids' activity sheet, and a chance to indulge your nostalgic side watching classic Roald Dahl stories. At weekends, bring your unwanted Penguins, Puffins and Pelicans and swap them for a new-to-you tome. And don't forget to join our Penguin Parade, by photographing yourself with our very own blue bird.

If you're looking for easter holiday events for art-lovers of all ages, we've got plenty to keep you entertained:
