summer activities in guildford for 5 year old

Hi, we are just moving to guildford with a baby due and I really need to keep my 5 year old son active and occupied for the summer. I would really appreciate any advice you might have for a good place for swimming lessons (groups or a good 1:1 swimming teacher), tennis lessons and summer camps - or anything that might keep a young boy occupied and happy. Many thanks, Siobhan07

Start with the spectrum and the sports park, but their brochures aren't out yet, more like after summer half term. You could also phone Boxgrove school to find contacts for the swimming teachers who use their pool. There are people who do tennis lessons in Burpham and Onslow village, but I don't have their contact. Also look out at the library for a source of info on kids activities.

My daughter looks after her partner's 5 year son at the weekends and is short of ideas for activities to do with him. Ideally she is looking for things to do at home as this is what has been stipulated by her partner. The little boy has a very short attention span. Any ideas would be very welcome
