Moving to South Wales

Hi all,
We are looking into moving to Port Talbot or around the south wales area, currently in Milton Keynes so its a big move for us. I was just wondering what the area is like, schools, nurseries etc.

Honestly? Port Talbot is pretty grim. Have you ever been there? Do you have any other places apart from Port Talbot in mind as South Wales is a pretty big area so difficult to recommend schools etc.

Neath is near Port Talbot but a lot nicer...

Definitely take a visit first! Try Skewen too.
