recommend any mums and babies groups in north leeds?

hiya,

im a first time mum living in alwoodley/shadwell area and want to know which mum/baby groups are good, friendly and you would recommend. My baby boy is 2 weeks old but i'm keen to get out and about and meet some other local mums for some adult conversation and coffee meets.

I don't know if this is too far, but I went to Bridge street church playgroup today, and it was by far the best playgroup I've every been to. It's in leeds city centre x

All the children's centres do a stay and play session. Horsforth Children's Centre runs one on a Friday morning

North Leeds NCT one is a roving coffee morning that I really liked - I think they go to the Headingley Children's centre once a month.

There's a lovely playgroup at Moortown Baptist church on Tuesday afternoons at 1pm.

There's one at the united reform church on high ash drive, I think it's a thursday morning. I've not been as I work ft at the moment but am about to go pt so will be giving it a go.
