Hi all, we just moved to edinburgh, and I feel all alone here.
Can anyone please tell me how do I find any baby groups here? And also would love to meet some mums from our erea.

Some info about us:
We are living near Abbyhill. My son (Liam) is 7month old, very friendly and active wee boy. My husband been in the UK for 13 years now, and I moved here 3 years ago.

Hi,
I'm in Edinburgh too. There's a good book called Edinburgh for Under 5's (I think) that lists loads of things to do plus baby and toddler groups. If you google it you can buy online I think or its available in some local shops. My DD is just coming up for a year. I would love to offer to meet for a coffee but I'm not long back at work and am full time plus on calls so have no idea when I'm next free. Hope you find the book helpful if you get a copy!

Check out the playgroup at St Paul's and St Georges church on Thursdays, it's brilliant and quite local for ou.

I'd recommend the Edinburgh for under 5's too. Netmum's have a good meet a mum board and list all local groups too.

hi Verawolf
I live quite near Abbeyhill, and it sounds like we have sons almost the same age - mine is now 8 and half months (although he's huge so looks quite a bit older!). I've lived in Edinburgh for ages but have found it lonely at times, too. I think there's a toddler and baby group in Northfield, but haven't actually made it there yet! I can see it's ages since you posted, but if you fancy meeting for a coffee, let me know
