Moving to Wantage in September 2012

Hi everyone

I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant with my first baby and will be moving to Wantage in September 2012 once he or she is born. My partner already lives there permanently as he works in Abingdon. I'm in Wantage pretty much every weekend at the moment, as I work in Cheltenham during the week. Neither of us really knows anyone in the area and I think we would both be really grateful of support when we become parents for the first time!

Does anyone know of any mother/baby groups, or baby massage? I'd also be interested in doing a class at a gym or swimming if there was one with a creche facility.

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated! :) Anna x

It really is a nice place to live - good luck with the move :-)

Sorry, didn't read properly - both the sports centre and KAs fitness have crèches - not used either myself though.

Aqua natal (if on) is a good place to meet mums to be, it used to be Thursday's at about 1400.

There is a lady (the aqua natal coach in fact) who runs baby massage - but not regular classes

I'm in Wantage too and currently 14 weeks, no idea about groups and stuff yet (though I saw a poster for Buggyfit in the park which I thought sounded good) but am in a similar situation with not many baby friends so would be good to keep in touch! I'll definitely let you know if I hear of anything. Where are you moving from?
