Possibly moving to Summertown ...

We are currently contemplating moving to Summertown from London later this year. I have a DD aged 11 months and am currently not working. I'd be really grateful for any advice people can give regarding how easy the transition will be. Are there lots of activities for toddlers? Is it easy enough to meet people? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

Yes, lots going on for babies and toddlers in Summertown, so plenty of opportunities to meet other parents. It's the 'yummy mummy' (do people still use that phrase?) end of town, so there are some nice shops and cafes as well. What sort of activities are you looking for in particular? Toddler groups, or classes? It's also very easy to get into the centre of Oxford from Summertown if you feel like a change.

You won't have any problems entertaining a toddler in Summertown. Be aware of school catchments when you buy, if you are going state.
