Moving to Long Eaton

Hi I'm moving to Sawley near Long Eaton in the next few months with my husband and 9 month old son. Can anyone tell me a bit about the area, any decent mum and baby activities and any meet ups going on (or anything we can start up??!)

Hi. We've recently moved to Sawley and there's a nice stay and play at the community centre. Long Eaton has quite a lot of groups etc for mums and babies, which seem pretty friendly. Also the children's centre in Long Eaton is helpful for info on local groups. Generally it's a good area for families - lots of little parks, swimming/leisure centre nearby, decent schools and Trent Lock area is nice for walks (and pubs!)
