Moving to Long Eaton

Hi I'm moving to Sawley near Long Eaton in the next few months with my husband and 9 month old son. Can anyone tell me a bit about the area, any decent mum and baby activities and any meet ups going on (or anything we can start up??!)

I used to live in Long Eaton but now live in Oakwood. It's not a massive place - where are you moving from? not sure about the mother and baby groups but I am sure Long Eaton will have some.

Used to live there - loads of stuff going on. Nct are v active - checkout the Nottingham page - and I went to things at St. John's church, college st and there's a playgroup at the church on the main road next to Trent college. Hth.
