Hi All, I see that Buttons has a big banner outside saying Outstanding (awarded by Ofsted) but I heard that it only achieved this in two categories, neither of which pertain to childcare. Does anyone else know about them, good or bad? A friend of mine is considering her childcare options in the area.

I've only heard bad things about it, I have to admit. But I've not had any personal experience just what other mums have told me. Things like high turnover of staff, staff too young etc. Three or four different mums have told me they took their children out and put them elsewhere. Saying that though another mum I know liked it and her son was there for a few years so I think maybe the best thing your friend could do is go and visit it and see what "feeling" she gets when she looks around.

My DD2 went to Buttons from age 2 to 3 in 2010 and I have nothing negative to report from my own personal experiance. She still talks about the great food she had and the activities she took part in.

Buttons is run by someone who had or did have a handful of nurseries. One of which was on an undercover tv program a couple of years ago. I would see if you could still watch this online.
