Hi, me and my partner are thinking of up to Leeds. My partner would move tomorrow but ive always lived in Coventry close to my family, can anyone suggest any nice areas good for a family to live we have a 7yr old, 3yr old and 19week baby. We will be renting as well so any suggestions of areas or good estate agents would be much appreciated :)

North Leeds has some very nice areas with good schools, etc. Would suggest you look into Roundhay, Chapel Allerton, Alwoodley, etc. You'd still be fairly close to the city centre but also a short drive out to the countyside.

I agree - North Leeds is lovely. We live in Moortown which is between Chapel Allerton and Roundhay. There is LOADS going on for young children and families and all the pubs and restaurants are very family friendly. Only a 10 min bus ride to the city centre too. We used Manning Stainton when we bought our house and they were OK - not sure what they are like for rentals though.

I'd definitely recommend Horsforth - brilliant for families, commutable to city centre & just generally a great place to live.

I'm another for Horsforth. Some of the best schools around, lovely people, lovely area!

I agree, north Leeds is great - Roundhay, Moortown, Alwoodley, West Park, Adel, Cookridge, Horsforth - all have good access and lots of things happening.
