Ipswich maternity

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can book private post natal rooms in Ipswich maternity hospital. We are ttc, having trouble, I have 1 dc already, and had an emergency section with him, then paid for a private room, but that was out of the area as we lived on the south coast.

I have a real hospital phobia, and if I was staying in overnight, or longer I don't know if I could cope with being on a ward, so it would influence my choice of hospitals!

Hi, sorry to hear about your previous experiences. Unfortunately you can't get a private room at Ipswich. All if the postnatal bays are 4 bedded.

i had a private room at ipswich hospital, im sure theyre just for the people who need to stay longer though you cant just request one. They need to be empty for the people who need them.
