reliable (and cheap!) removalist Edinburgh to London?

We're moving in May and looking for some suggestions? We don't need the full packing service or anything like that but really just a couple of burly men and a big van! Does anyone have any recommendations? We have a 3 bedroom house and a lot of toys Also, any idea how much this would cost?

Martin at man with a van (leith way - google him). He sent van plus 2 boys -2 hours (worked like dogs up and down the stair) and they quoted £75. Prompt, polite, no tea drunk. I was embarrassed and gave them £100 and a crate of beer.

Kerrs did this recently for my friend and was pretty reliable. If you call them they'll give you a quote.

Brittannia was my cheapest quote - 2 flats into one house same day £430 (3 blokes huge lorry) they did a good job.

oooh sounds interesting PamSco. I'll get on the phone to them. Kerrs sounds like a good option too. Been looking at men with vans options but not sure if I'll get away with that as I need something bigger than a Luton type van. Thanks for all your help

We used Kerrs. Excellent job except I wouldn't let them touch your piano....
