After 6 months in rented accomodation, it's finally time to move into refurbished house. Would like to move all 50+ boxes over first and then move furniture a week later. Can anyone recommend a friendly reliable man with van for mving boxes and/or furniture. We are moving less than a mile in Hampton area.
Any suggestions welcomed!

We used streetvan as we also moved round the corner, really cheap and reliable. The moving quotes we got were really expensive, same price as if we were moving further a field rather than 500yards so we decided to do it with streetvan and have subsequently used them since. If you can get someone to help with the boxes it's a good solution. Dh and some neigbours just carried furniture round to new house!

Good luck

Thanks for your post vbus. Sadly our furniture is too big to make a DIY move praticable.

I'm using Arclite in twickenham for my move, though I haven't used them yet as I don;t move for another couple of weeks... gulp... they come highly recommended though.

We used Goddards, twice now, and were very pleased with them both times. You'll have to pPretend the website looks good though :)
