Hi everyone :)

I've just moved to Edinburgh and would like recommendations for a hairdresser, not too expensive, and a beauty place for eyebrow threading, waxing, and a good facial for dry skin if anyone knows one?

Also a good place for Botox?

Thanks!

Hair- go to Claire at Cascal in the David Lloyd health club in corstorphine. She's really good. She used to be at the leith salon but just moved. For threading I just o to debenhams on princes street. It's walk in and the ladies are excellent.
For everything else including Botox, you must go to Jackie at Dermal Clinic in bruntsfield. She's fabulous Wink

I use the place in Livingston's almondvale for threading. only £5 and walk in. The Beauty Works is where I use for everything else. Hairdresser is expensive but she's one of the seniors and I've used her for 16 years.

A little down market but there were some decent ones near hay market train stn. Gentle threading and some fantastic hair dressers around there.
I envy anyone who lives in Edinburgh...I love that place...walked around hawes inn all day on most days!

I see Vicky at Urban Angel (edge of meadows near newington)- I've followed her round 3 salons now. About £35-£40 for a cut and cut and colour are about £80-90 which is goodish for Edinburgh. Avoid Cheynes, Charlie Millar etc unless you are megabucks

I sadly am not mega bucks Grin I like spending a bit on makeup, facials etc but as I tie my hair back in pony or bun every day I don't want to spend more than 35 ish at the hairdresser. That sounds perfect, thanks

Off to have a google and make some appointments. Thanks :)
