Party entertainer for 4 year old boy

I'd be very grateful if anyone had any recommendations - have been quoted £245 (yes 245 notes!) for a pirate entertainer which is frankly absurd seeing as I have to organise the venue/food /prizes.

He is a real boys boy and unfortunately heard me talking to this pirate and has his heart set on him. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

You could look into Sparkle Arts? They do a pirate themed party and charge about half of what you've been quoted. We were at a 3rd birthday party done by them acfew weeks ago, and the kids loved it.

Thank you. That looks great but I'm not sure suitable for ds as he is not much of a dancer. He is a real boys boy with an older brother and quite a mature 4. If I was asked what he is into I would have to say fighting and fighting. So something slightly more swashbuckling.

He also probably would prefer a male entertainer as he is so into role models and older-man admiration. Sorry - I know that is a very specific list of requests but I have stupidly bigged up the party and don't want him to be disappointed. Blush

The likes to Tricky Ricky are good but also very costly. Stina Sparkles get a good reputation for face painting and specialised disco's and games but it may not be what you want. It may be better to try Party Planet which can be pricey but can accommodate most requests and have male and female party hosts.

DS loves tricky Ricky but no idea how much he costs

Last quote I had from Tricky Ricky was over £200 for 45 minutes.

Tricky Ricky did my six year olds party at new year. £225 for 2 hours (games for an hour, 15 minute break for food, then 45 minute show) Or apparently he charges about £115- £120 for the 45 minute show alone.

He was absolutely fantastic. Kept 30 4, 5 and 6 year olds captivated for the entire party. According to the class teacher they still repeat his catch phrases and extract from the show.
