I'm not actually in bishops stortford but it's my nearest big town. I had my dc1 in qe2 welwyn but the mat unit is now closed so i have been given lister in Stevenage, rosie in Cambridge or princess Alexandra in Harlow as options this time. Distance wise I'm mid way between Stevenage and Harlow so am keen to choose either of these rather than Rosie.

Does anyone have any experience of either? I need to tell my midwife this afternoon!

I was going to say Rosie, as I was close to Stortford when I had DC and my choice was Harlow or Rosie so I went with Rosie... don't discount it, I had a very good experience both times there...

Oh and also just realised, you've probably decided by now. Which did you go for?

And of course, you are always entitled to change your mind!

I was going to say Rosie too - had DS there and will have DD there later in the year.

I know of people who have had good experiences at both Harlow and Lister though, so imagine both would be good.

Hi :), are there any expecting mummies who are up for meeting for chats and walks to keep fit in bishops stortford, stansted saffron walden area? Please get in touch.

hi Flowerhead, the NCT in Stortford have started doing walks in Hatfield forest I think. I may be joining them once baby arrives... here is their FB page :) if you want to meet folk in the area, NCT is as good a way as any :)

maybe see you there later in the year!
