There must be other people out there who want to find other mums and toddlers/kids to meet at weekends. I don't have many local friends anyway but those mums I do know tend to want to spend the weekends having family time with their other-halfs. My partner works at the weekends and I find it difficult to get through the hours with my lovely but very active and bouncy two-year-old son - it would be nice to know other people - perhaps single parents or other people whose partners are at work at the weekends - who have kids under five and would like to have some adult conversation for themselves and some play mates for their kids.
